The Electric Bloom Series
No. 13 of 15 - “The Electroc Bloom Series”
This piece lets the light do the work. A neon orange underpainting glows through every layer, so the dandelion seeds seem to catch fire at their edges as the sun sinks into the meadow.
To me, this captures that last quiet moment of the day, when the whole field is lit from behind and even the softest, most fragile things begin to shine.
Size: A4 (21 x 29.7 cm / 8.3 x 11.7 in)
Painted: 2026
Technique: Watercolor underpainting (neon orange) and oil pastel on premium watercolor paper
Please note:
Each piece is a one-of-a-kind original, signed and numbered by me.
Colors may differ slightly from what you see on your screen. The neon tones in particular look more intense in real life.
As the work is handmade, small variations in size and texture are part of its character.
Oil pastel stays soft, so please avoid touching the surface. I recommend framing behind glass and keeping it out of direct sunlight.
Shipping after the exhibition is possible on request. The copyright remains with me, and the purchase does not include reproduction rights.
All original is part of my exhibition in Frankfurt, opening on October 24, and will be on display for one month. To reserve or purchase this piece, please get in touch with me.
No. 12 of 15 — "The Electric Bloom Series"
These rock roses don't ask to be noticed, they simply are, petals unfurled without pattern or plan, colliding into something beautifully unruly.
To me, this captures the stillness that comes after a long day, when even the boldest colors start to feel calm against a sky winding down.
Size: 30 x 40 cm (11.8 x 15.7 in)
Painted: 2026
Technique: Acrylic underpainting (neon orange) and oil pastel on canvas board

No. 11 of 15 — "The Electric Bloom Series"
Some days, when the sky outside turns grey and everything feels a little quieter, my mind wanders back to a summer table somewhere in Italy, sunlight, citrus, and that particular kind of stillness you only find far from home.
To me, this piece holds onto that feeling, ripe lemons and delicate blossoms glowing against a neon yellow that hums just beneath the surface, like warmth you can still carry with you long after the trip has ended.
Size: A5 (14.8 x 21 cm / 5.8 x 8.3 in)

Technique: Acrylic underpainting (neon yellow) and oil pastel on premium watercolor paper

No. 10 of 15 — "The Electric Bloom Series"
The sky here does most of the talking, streaks of pink, blue, and gold all colliding at once, like the day couldn't decide how to end.
To me, this captures how something so simple, white petals against neon paper, can still hold its own beneath a sky that loud.
Size: A5 (14.8 x 21 cm / 5.8 x 8.3 in)
Technique: Oil pastel on neon pink cardstock

No. 09 of 15 — "The Electric Bloom Series"
These daisies caught my eye for their simplicity, just petals and light, standing tall against a sky that seemed to be on fire.
To me, this captures that golden, in-between moment when the day softens and everything, even the simplest flower, starts to glow.

No. 8 of 15 — "The Electric Bloom Series"
Painted with fiery strokes, this piece brings the wild, towering elegance of loosestrife to life, radiating the intense energy of a late summer evening.
For me, this artwork holds the quiet magic of endless fields glowing in the twilight, capturing that fleeting moment when the landscape breathes out after a long warm day.

No. 07 of 15 — "The Electric Bloom Series"
This is a quiet one. No neon, no loud color, just light, shadow, and stillness.
This piece holds a quiet kind of melancholy, not heavy, just tender. Like standing alone in an alpine meadow, mountains fading into mist, and letting a moment slow down.

Painted: 2026
Technique: Acrylic underpainting (blue) and oil pastel on premium paper

No. 06 of 15 — "The Electric Bloom Series"
Where my other pieces search for warmth and glow, this one leans into stillness. Pale blossoms on bare branches, held in cool blues and muted greens, like the last light before dusk settles in.
To me, this captures a different kind of beauty. Not loud, not golden, but calm and a little melancholic, flowers caught in that quiet hour before spring truly takes over.

No. 05 of 15 — “The Electric Bloom Series”
This one leans further into the light. Beneath the poppies, a neon lilac base still hums through the gaps, but here it's joined by scattered strokes of gold pastel that catch the light and give the piece a soft shimmer in direct sun.
To me, this captures the magic of twilight, when the soft, warm colors of the setting sun wash over a field of poppies. It’s that quiet but vibrant moment just before dusk sets in.

No. 04 of 15 — "The Electric Bloom Series"
This fourth piece in the series immerses you in a vibrant, sprawling field of tulips under a dramatic, shifting sky.
To me, this piece captures the raw, kinetic energy of a late afternoon when the setting sun sets the horizon ablaze. The contrast between the grounded, fiery blooms and the dark, fleeting silhouettes of the birds ascending creates a sense of both stillness and wild movement. It’s that breathtaking moment in nature where the colors are so saturated they feel electric, wrapping the viewer in a warm, almost surreal embrace before twilight settles in.

No. 03 of 15 — "The Electric Bloom Series"
This third piece in the series moves from open meadows into an intimate still life, centering on loose star magnolia branches gathered in a vibrant vase.
It is supposed to capture that fleeting moment in early spring when star magnolias burst open on bare branches before the rest of the world has awakened. The striking contrast between the delicate, pointed white petals and the sultry red shadows creates a quiet, electric intensity, catching nature right at the threshold of winter and life.

No. 02 of 15 — "The Electric Bloom Series"
This second piece in the series explores a delicate dance of vibrant color and soft light, focusing on the simple, et profound, beauty of a summer meadow at dusk.
The rich, golden and green fields are often applied up to the contours of the flowers, yet leaving a fine margin. This allows the underpainting to form a subtle halo around the petals and stems, catching the light like the last rays of a setting sun. This subtle edge adds to the painting's atmospheric quality, evoking the serene and dreamlike stillness of early twilight, when the colors seem to softly vibrate against each other before fading into night.

No. 01 of 15 — “The Electric Bloom Series”
This piece opens a series where I make flowers feel truly alive, not just pretty to look at, but warm enough to feel.
To me, this captures the feeling of standing in a meadow in the evening light, that warm golden glow settling over everything just before the sun goes down.

No. 14 of 15 - “The Electric Bloom Series”
This piece takes the series in a bolder direction. Instead of soft evening light, the glow here comes from contrast: orange sunflowers set against a neon violet that makes them almost buzz.
To me, this one feels less like a quiet sunset and more like a flash of color in the dark, where the flowers seem to glow because everything around them is so electric.

Painted: 2026
